About Brunt Knott Cottages
The cottages are traditionally constructed in stone and slate, each with its own garden and private parking. Decor is traditional, with rustic beams, full carpeting and comfortable furniture.
The farm has sheep and extremely free range hens!
Eggs are available for visitors to buy (subject to availability and mood of the hens)
All items required under the Visit Britain Self Catering 3 star classification are included, such as colour television and VCR, electric cooker, microwave and refrigerator along with a full range of catering utensils. Barbeque sets and garden furniture are available for each cottage.
The farm has its own private water supply which is fed from a spring up on the fell. The water is beautiful and is tested by the local authority.
All cottages are approved by the English Tourist Board and regularly inspected.
The Bothy : sleeps four, one double room/one twin
The Byre : sleeps five, one double/one single & bunk beds
The Hayloft : sleeps two, one double bedroom
Just a quick word to say how much we enjoyed The Bothy, and the way in which you were "there for us", but at the same time left us alone. A super place to stay.

Dear Margaret and William, Just a quick note to say thanks again for your hospitality and the Hayloft a couple of weeks ago. We both had a lovely time and very much appreciated the extra night we were there for. Even with that the holiday was far too short though.
